Eros

Platon: Dem Eros wohnt ein Keim des Universellen inne. Wenn wir einen schönen Körper betrachten, so bin ich bereits auf dem Weg zum Schönen an sich. Der Eros regt und treibt die Seele dazu an, zu zeugen im Schönen. Von ihm geht ein geistiger Auftrieb aus. Die erosgetriebene Seele bringt schöne Dinge und vor allem schöne Handlungen hervor, die einen universellen Wert haben. (Byung Chul Han: Agonie des Eros, 2017)

Mit meinen fotografischen Arbeiten untersuche ich das Spiel der Fantasie mit dem Geheimnis des Verborgenen, das Verlangen die unsichtbare und ungreifbare Schönheit auf sinnliche Art zu ergründen und die zaghafte Annäherung an das Andere.

​

Diese Schönheit finde ich spielerisch in den Formen des menschlichen Körpers und der Natur wieder und beobachte die sinnliche Kommunikation die durch das Zusammenspiel der Beiden entsteht.

Eros

Plato: Eros contains a germ of the universal. When we look at a beautiful body, I am already on the way to the beautiful in itself. Eros stimulates and drives the soul to bear witness to the beautiful. A spiritual impetus emanates from it. The eros-driven soul produces beautiful things and above all beautiful actions that have a universal value. (Byung Chul Han: Agony of Eros, 2017)

With my photographic works I investigate the play of fantasy with the secret of the hidden, the desire to explore the invisible and intangible beauty in a sensual way and the timid approach to the other.

​

I playfully find this beauty in the forms of the human body and nature and observe the sensual communication that arises from the interaction of the two.
